Fascinated by people and teams that outdo themselves on a daily basis Patrick and his business partner Hans van der Loo started a research project. They interviewed more than 200 innovative entrepreneurs, scientists and journalists, on various continents. The goal was to understand why some people, teams and organizations perform so much better. What are they doing differently? And how can you apply this yourself in your work? What can you learn from sciences and best practices within innovative companies?
In his lectures Patrick shares best practices- in mindset and methods – of leading organisations like Tesla, Amazon, Heineken, Netflix, Twitter, Basecamp, Voys, Google, Starbucks, Red Bull Racing, Haier and the US Army but also the country of Finland and a range of award winning startups, in a very inspiring way. About Patrick
Born in Amsterdam in 1971, Patrick studied business economics at the Free University (Amsterdam) and worked as a boardroom consultant (and coach to award winning startups) throughout Europe. He worked across industries, for more than 20 years, before quitting his consultancy job. In 2015 he joining forces with Hans van der Loo to start his own companies. As a result they jointly launched betterday (a high end consultancy firm specialized in four areas: developing vision & strategy, developing a culture of innovation, teaming and how to start a movement).
